0 MAC quite cute collection

Didn't purchase much from this collection as the only things I was mainly interested was the blushers though. I didn't plan to purchase Candy Yum yum lipstick at first, but when i saw it in real life...the bright neon hot pink totally called out to me. So I had to have it. Unfortunately, my cam is not able to capture the neon in it....but it's a totally gorgeous lipstick. And I didn't manage to get Miss Behave blush as the counter I frequented didn't receive stocks for it. The quad looked nice but when i swatched it, it was very very sheer and besides I could dupe it with other MAC products I already own so I skipped it as well..

So basically this is what I bought from Quite cute..

 Candy Yum Yum lipstick

Play time lipstick
Candy yum yum: This is such a unique shade of hot neon pink which is NOT similar to any MAC hot pink lipsticks that it has released in the past. Buy this if u love hot pinks...cause this lipstick really rocks! It's a matte though, so be sure to moisturize your lips really well before applying it

Play Time: Looks similar in the tube to up the amp, but it's significantly much lighter than Up the Amp lipstick from the regular collection and is more pink than Up the Amp. It's a cremesheen texture, so it's moisturizing for the lips

I love you plushglass: Best applied over another purplish / pink lipstick. By itself, it applies very sheer

Sakura mineralized blush
From left to right: Lavendar part, Red heart, Mixed color

Sakura mineralized blush is definitely not as purple when applied on the face than in the pan. In fact it goes on a very nice wearable cool pink on the face.  It was the first to be sold out at our local MAC counters. And it's definitely not as purple or cool toned as Loverock or Two virtues mineralized blush if anyone is wondering.

Giggly mineralized blush

This kinda reminds me of dainty mineralized blush but not as shimmery and with the heart. It appears more peachy pink on me rather than pink as in the pan as with dainty mineralized blush.

0 My make up collection part 14 - Other brands eye base (Final part!!!)

Phew! This is the FINAL part of my make up collection. Sorry that I took so long to update this blog. I will in future incorporate any new hauls into each of the relevant make up collection post (but I will consolidate them into several items into one picture if not there will be too many pics of single items which will take up too much space).

Here are my other brands of eye shadow bases... and what have nots like cream eyeshadows in pot and paint form and of course not to forget the famous UDPP and Two Faced Shadow insurance

Also included in this pic are 2 pen highlighters (1 YSL touche eclat and the other is a pen highlighter from Lunasol), 3 eye glosses in tube from from Lunasol (the ones in the brown boxes), a couple of eyeshadow sticks from Top shop and some other miscellaneous brands and 3 cream eyeshadows in pot form from Shiseido.

To be honest, UDPP is good, but I find that when it comes to wearing shimmery eyeshadows, it tends to mattify the shadow and I prefer my eyeshadows to have some shimmer rather than matte. But I think it will be good for people with oily lids or who have problems with eyeshadows staying on them. I don't have an issue with eyeshadow not staying on my lids, but i mainly use the UDPP to intensify eyeshadow colors, especially for those with little color pay off.

Comparatively, TSFI (Too faced shadow insurance) is a more liquid texture to it which i prefer. I find UDPP can be a bit too mattifying and drying for me. Functions are the same, it does intensify my eyeshadow color. Between the two, I prefer TSFI, but do note this is mainly because I have non oily lids. I know of girls  with oily lids who prefer UDPP. =)

0 My make up collection part 13 - Other brand lipstuff

Part 13 of my make up collection - other brands lipstuff. As u can see, I'm not much of a fan of lip products as compared to blushers and eyeshadows....

I dropped my chanel no #54 lipgloss and it broke... sobs :( Need to get it again cause that's one of my favourite gloss colors :( Lesson learnt: Never drop a chanel gloss to the floor cause it will break...
